Rowing the Atlantic
is not for the faint-hearted
At the mercy of Mother Nature and her unpredictable elements, ocean rowers contend with formidable challenges: storms, scorching heat, and towering 40-foot waves in your path. The journey is fraught with seasickness, salt sores, debilitating blisters, dehydration, sunstroke, hallucinations, and the looming threat of the boat capsizing.
Despite these daunting hurdles, Sam remains resolute and undeterred! The Entrepreneur Ship 2023 is not just about conquering the Atlantic. It's about making a difference. Sam is embarking on this incredible challenge for UnLtd charity, the UK's leading supporter of socially-minded entrepreneurs.
Let's turn this daring adventure into a force for good!

WORLD’S TOUGHEST ROW
Inspired by the legacy of Guy Rigby & David Murray, the first Entrepreneur Ship team who broke the World Record in 2021. Their spirit of challenge, resilience, and determination resonated deeply with Sam.
As an avid extreme sportsman and skydiver, Sam Glover was sold on the idea of entering the World’s Toughest Row that tested his mental resilience and physical endurance. A life-changing experience never be forgotten!
Up to forty teams from around the world will take part in the race. Not to overstate the point, more people have travelled to space than have rowed an ocean. For much of the voyage, the nearest human beings will be in the international space station.
